Dr. Sourav Mondal earned his Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad. He has successfully qualified for GATE, CAT, and SET examinations. His doctoral research was recognized with the Best Thesis Award at the departmental level. He also holds postdoctoral experience from IIT Delhi. Before joining IIM Jammu, Dr. Sourav served as an Assistant Professor at the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Pune, under Symbiosis International
University. His broad teaching areas include Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, and Operations Management & Research. His specific areas of expertise are Entrepreneurship Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Research Methodology, Business Analytics, Circular Economy, Supply Chain Management, Corporate Sustainability, Industry 4.0, Waste Management, and Business Ethics. Dr. Sourav has published research papers in ABDC, Web of Science, ABS, and SCOPUS-ranked journals, and has presented papers at various international conferences in India and abroad. His research interests span Entrepreneurship, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Management, and Finance.
