Professor Sanjay Gupta is a Professor of Practice in the area of Organizational Behavior (OB)
& Human Resource Management (HRM) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE) from the National
Productivity Council (NPC), Ambedkar Institute of Productivity (AIP), Chennai (an
autonomous body) and a B.Tech in Industrial Engineering from Regional Engineering College
(REC), Jalandhar (affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar).

A seasoned industry practitioner turned academician, Professor Gupta brings over 25 years
of cross-functional and cross-geographical leadership experience across India, Oman, South
Africa, and Mozambique. His career spans diverse sectors, including Manufacturing, Real
Estate, Power, Steel, and Consulting.

With a strong expertise in HR leadership and strategic business transformation, he has
played a pivotal role in organizational growth, cultural transformation, restructuring, and
productivity enhancement. His key areas of focus include - Organizational Change
Management & Cultural Transformation; HR Analytics for Productivity & Workforce
Optimization; Performance & Rewards Management; Shared Services Integration; Talent
