Dr. Malaya Ranjan Mohapatra completed his Ph.D. in Accounting & Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. He has qualified the UGC-NET in commerce and completed his CA (Inter) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Dr. Malaya is a gold-medallist in Master of Commerce (M.Com.) from Ravenshaw University, Odisha. Besides these, he has one year of teaching experience at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad. His teaching interest includes financial accounting, management accounting, corporate finance, and financial statement analysis.

He has published research papers in ABDC ranked journals and presented research papers at various National and International conferences in India and outside India. His research interest includes corporate governance, earnings management, firm performance, and sustainability reporting.
